King Abdulaziz Racecourse a $20 million Saudi Cup has the potential to be part of the greatest horse racing meeting of the year, according to Tom Ryan.
The Saudi Cup will be run over a distance of nine furlongs (1,800 metres) on turf and is the feature of an eight-race card.

The Championship course at Dubai Hills Golf Club has just been crowned the” World’s Best New Golf Course 2019” at the World Golf Awards. The course was constructed by Desert Group, which also constructed the Jumeirah Golf Estates. They have used the latest salt-tolerant paspalum grass varieties, with the irrigation system from Rain Bird. The club is operated by Troon.
The renovation was undertaken by Desert Landscape, a division of Desert Group, who completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule. The course was closed to pave way for a greens renovation due to the invasion of foreign grasses, which had affected the uniformity, appearance and smoothness of the greens.
