Senior Estimator

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify bid requirements, both technical and commercial, to prepare compliant bids.
  • Conduct site visits when required to assess costs and understand the program of work and its requirements.
  • Prepare and submit requests for information to the client/consultant to clarify discrepancies.
  • Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
  • Delegate draftsmen for quantity take-off to cross-check BOQ quantities and schedules.
  • Compare and negotiate suppliers’ quotes to select the most competitive options for rate build-up.
  • Prepare and compile cost estimates, ensuring the full scope is covered or properly qualified.
  • Attend pre- and post-tender meetings and prepare value engineering (VE) bids.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Estimation Manager.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in landscape estimation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university is preferred.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (Candy CCS, AutoCAD, MS Office).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Passionate team player driven to exceed results.

Junior Estimator

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify bid submission requirements, both technical and commercial, to prepare compliant bids.
  • Responsible for floating all inquiries to the suppliers / sub-contractors to obtain timely quotations.
  • Conduct site visits when required to assess costs and understand the program of work and its requirements.
  • Prepare and submit requests for information to the client/consultant to clarify discrepancies.
  • Identify materials and subcontract requirements by studying BOQ, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
  • Delegate draftsmen for quantity take-off to cross-check BOQ quantities and schedules.
  • Prepare basic cost estimates for smaller or less complex projects under supervision.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Senior Estimator or Estimation Manager.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university is preferred.
