Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for landscape construction projects
  • Analyze drawings (hard copy/digital), specifcations, and other documentation to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to develop cost-effective solutions and value engineering proposals.
  • Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction phase. identifying and addressing deviations.
  • Participate in project meetings, prepare progress reports, cost forecasts, and financial documentation as required.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements (monthly applications/variations/final accounting/taking over certificates/defect liability certificate) industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying. Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum experience of 8 years as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or landscaping industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costing principles.
  • Proficiency in quantity takeoff/preparation of variations/extension of time/final accounts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and abilities to work independently.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing landscape construction and FIDIC law.

  • Lead and manage landscaping projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, timeline, and budget goals are met.
  • Coordinate with clients, designers, subcontractors, and team members to deliver exceptional results and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans schedules, and budgets while monitoring progress and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Implement best practices in project management to optimize efficiency. productivity, and profitability.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
  • Understand client's expectations and ensure that project deliverables align with them.

Requirements:

  • Masters/Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or similar fields.
  • Minimum of 10–12 years’ experience in project management within the landscaping industry, in a leadership role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Valid UAE driver's license, excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
